Radio Program on Women Issues Started   in Rajshahi Radio Station

With the view to informing the mass people of different problems and potential of the women of Rajshahi region, a special program titled ‘Women Voice’ starts to be broadcast over Rajshahi Radio Station from Sunday.

Mass communication oriented knowledge centre CCD Bangladesh has taken initiative of broadcasting this program. With the support of the British Council, this program will be broadcast at 08:00 pm on the 1^st  and 15^th of every month in the FM Band (105 KHz) of Rajshahi Radio Station. The first section of the Women Voice series has broadcast on 15 March.

Media personality G M Mourtoza produced this program. The activists of the Audio-Visual Production and Broadcasting Team of CCD and organizers of Bangladesh Women Empowerment Network (WEN), co-organization of CCD are planning and making this series program. 

This is the first women based radio program that are planned, developed and produced by the women. A number of committed women of WEN who took radio program production training are totally involved to manage the radio programs.
