Under the Advancing Local Electrical Reporting (ALERT) in Bangladesh project to verify information and prevent fake news, CCD Bangladesh in collaboration with Internews has organised the third and latest Training of Trainers for journalists in Khulna. 28 journalists from Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions successfully completed the first day of this training today.
CCD Bangladesh is working with the aim of not only receiving training on fact-checking but also how to improve the quality of work of journalists at the grass root level, how to prevent misinformation and disinformation, and give a rumor-free Bangladesh. The network hub created by a total of 100 people, including 75 journalists and 25 journalism professors, will now work all over Bangladesh simultaneously, with the same dream, with the determination to build a safe Bangladesh.
