The British Council and UNESCO Bangladesh delegation met today with Professor Dr Golam Shabbir Sattar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Rajshahi. They discussed the future collaboration between the University of Rajshahi and the British Council and UNESCO Bangladesh.
David Knox, Director Programmes Bangladesh and Nahin Idris, Head of Arts, represented the British Council at the meeting. In addition to Dr Susan Vize, Officer-in-Charge and Kizzy Tahnin, Culture Program Officer were present from the UNESCO Dhaka Office.
Professor Md Sultan-Ul-Islam, Pro-VC (Administration) and Professor M. Humayun Kabir, Pro-VC (Academic) along with Professor Dr Pradip Kumar Panday, Administrator of the Public Relations Office, shared their thoughts during the meeting.
G M Mourtoza, director of CCD Bangladesh and Sadya Mizan, Founding member and director of URONTO Artist Community also attended the meeting.
