A press conference was held yesterday announcing the dates of the upcoming WOW – Women of the World Bangladesh 2023 festival. This women and girls-focused event is organised by the British Council, Mongol Deep Foundation and CCD Bangladesh, in partnership with UK charity The WOW Foundation.
Sara Zaker (Chairperson, Mongol Deep Foundation), Shahana Parveen (Joint Director, CCD Bangladesh), Ifra Iqbal (Cultural Engagement Programme Manager, British Council), Zakia Haque (Managing Director, Creative Pathways Bangladesh) and Sharmin Sultana Sumi (Founder and Vocalist of popular rock band Chirkutt) spoke at the event.
