Capacity Building of Local Journalists on Economic and Trade Reporting:

Through this project, CCD will be attempted to introduce a specialized economic journalism and reporting in the local level by flourishing the capacity and efficiency of the journalists and to ensure the proper and effective role of the local mass media and journalists for the sustainable development of the financial activities, small trade and business enterprise in the region. The project will ensure creating interpersonal relationship between journalists, business personal and the European delegation of Bangladesh. More>>

Raising Saontal Voice:

The goal of this project is to create public opinion, public awareness and to raise voice for the sustainable environment, empowerment and human rights of the Saontal community through ensuring the active involvement of the Saontal representatives in the mainstream journalism and by introducing community based active journalism. BASA

Youth Voice

Bangladesh Aids Information and Documentation Services is an information centre located in the CCD Bangladesh office. People can get information on HIV/AIDS related issues from this centre. It has been initiated by CARE Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Advanced Students Alliance- BASA is initiated by CCD to make the young people as active citizens, youth leaders and youth ambassadors for raising youth voice on several socio-economic, political, cultural related issues including HIV/AIDS.

It is a CCD initiative to flourish folk and traditional culture. It is a cultural group of some promising young artists. Usually they take part in various cultural programs to raise awareness on many development issues.

Women's Empowerment Network [WEN]:

The time has come for women to celebrate and become empowered through the launch of the Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN). Two volunteers, Laura Bos of AusAID and Molly Dalessandro of Peace Corp, have initiated this network with the support of CCD Bangladesh. Know more>>
